On Monday, June 13th, Canada Company hosted its 8th Annual Golf Tournament at Devil’s Pulpit golf club in Caledon, Ontario to raise money for the Military Employment Transition Program.
Players enjoyed a sunny June day that featured several demonstrations by the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) personnel who were present. After beginning the day with a military-style breakfast, the beginning of the round was signaled by a shot from a CAF howitzer. Golfers were also treated to a CAF weaponry show-and-tell session, and a variety of golf activities and challenges, such as longest drive, and closest to the pin competitions. Golfers also had opportunities to interact with CAF members throughout the day, and the event wrapped up with a dinner and silent auction.
