April 9th, on the 98th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, Canada Company in partnership with the Royal Regiment of Montreal (RMR) hosted a movie night. Over 60 business and community leaders and 100 serving soldiers and veterans packed the Cineplex Odeon theater that night. Honorary Colonel and Canada Company member Colin Robinson conducted a brief introduction setting up the viewing of the NFB’s famous documentary and Chris Sweeney also a Canada Company member and head of the Vimy Foundation outlined plans for the creation of the Vimy Ridge visitors center which will open in 2017. Enthusiastic feedback from the event will ensure that the evening is an annual tradition.
