The Last Post Fund is a non-profit organization which delivers the Funeral and Burial Program on behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada. The primary objective of the Last Post Fund is to ensure that no Veteran is denied a dignified funeral and burial due to lack of sufficient funds at time of death. Through a gift of $1,600 from Canada Company, the National Field of Honour has purchased a salt spreader for winter works. It will also serve as a fertilizer spreader in the summer.
