On March 31st 2016 the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, in collaboration with Canada Company, hosted an event to help educate the members of the SME business community on how to conduct business with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) as well as how to become an Employer Partner and begin hiring transitioning military and Reserves with Canada Company’s Military Employment Transition (MET) program.
The agenda included a seminar on public procurement and a presentation by BGen Stéphane Lafaut, Commander of 2 Cdn Div, who discussed the CAF economic footprint in Quebec. This presentation was followed by a Q&A discussion that was moderated by Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal and featured Charles Bouchard, CEO, Lockheed Martin Canada and BGen Stéphane Lafaut.
