Goldring is Executive Chairman of AGF Management Limited, a premier independent asset management company with operations in Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Named Executive Chairman in 2019, Chairman in 2006, Chief Executive Officer in 2000, and President in 1997, Blake has led the growth of AGF\u2019s business, which today manages over $39 billion (C$) in investors\u2019 assets globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In recognition of his dedication and leadership to strengthening the important bridge between the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Canadian society, the Conference of Defence Association [CDA] Institute named him the 2014 VIMY Award recipient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After serving in the Army as an Honorary Colonel for 12 years, the last 7 of which as the first ever Honorary Colonel for the Army, he received his Canadian Forces Decoration [CD] on November 24, 2017. He is also a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts and a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He serves on the Lawrence Centre Advisory Council at the Richard Ivey School of Business and The President\u2019s International Alumni Council at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Business Council of Canada and a Leadership Council Member of the Toronto Finance International (TFI).<\/p>\n<p>Blake is Chair, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Board and a Director of Smith and Williamson (a U.K.-based wealth management firm founded in 1881), the Canadian Film Centre, the C.D. Howe Institute and a number of private companies.
