Afternoon Session, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm:
During the Afternoon Session, Employer Partners and Veterans were joined by dozens of business leaders from Toronto. Attendees took in two excellent special addresses, the first of which was from the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Jonathan Vance. The second address of the afternoon was given by Michael "Pinball" Clemons, Vice Chair of the Toronto Argonauts, who received a standing ovation for his message of support for the men and women who serve in Canada's Armed Forces.
The afternoon also featured three discussion panels, From War Rooms to Boardrooms: Why Business Needs to Get Engaged, Innovation in Transition: Influencing a Nation through Strategic Partnerships, and Building a Better Nation: Private and Public Sector Collaboration. These panels provided Business Leaders, Employer Partners, and transitioning members with an opportunity to hear about the latest developments in military employment transition.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generous support.
